It is designed to help hold the inner linings to the inside of the outer palm shell.

I did a complete reconditioned of my Nokona Walnut glove. Cleaned, conditioned, re-laced and added palm adhesive (since the cosmoline Nokona uses was dried up). This product works. It's very sticky but easy to apply without having to heat it up.
Was restoring an older (2008) Wilson A2K. Upon replacing the heel lace while bulking up the plastic inserts in both pinky and thumb I noticed the palm adhesive was all dried up. So, I bought this balm to adhere the shell liner to the back of the palm. Works awesome and was easy to apply. Super sticky too!
